Three things we do, start to finish
Each one is built in our shop and put in by our crew. Below is what it covers, where it applies, and what to send so we can price it without three rounds of email.
01
New construction trash chute systems
Chute trunk sized to the shaft, landing doors at every floor, the discharge at the low point, and the supports the stack hangs from.
Buildings going up where the chute needs to match what's drawn, not what's left over after the framing closes.
Send us
- Floor count and shaft dimensions
- Landing layout or floor plans
- Where the dump lands
- Drawings if you have them
02
Compactor chute systems
Chute and hopper arranged to feed a compactor properly, the chute room laid out around the machine, and the install that ties them together.
Buildings moving off floor bins, or a compactor that needs a chute built around it.
Send us
- Compactor make and model if specified
- Room dimensions and clearances
- Floors being served
- Drawings if you have them
03
Installation by our own crew
Delivery, hoisting and setting sections, aligning landings, connecting to the compactor or dump, and clearing the room at the end of the day.
Anything we fabricated, and work we're brought in to finish when someone else built the stack.
Send us
- Site contact
- Access hours
- Elevator or hoist availability
- The date you need it in
What we need to price a job
The more of this you send at the start, the faster the answer. Missing pieces we can get on a site check — that's what the site check is for.
Email drawings to Office@megachutesusa.com- 01Floor count and the shaft or chase dimensions
- 02Landing layout — where each door has to open
- 03Where the refuse lands at the bottom
- 04Whether a compactor is in the room already
- 05Compactor make and model, if there is one
- 06Drawings, even a marked-up PDF
- 07Site address and the date you need it installed

Why we keep the shop
Forming our own steel means a change on site doesn't wait on a supplier. The section gets corrected in the shop, on the same schedule, by the people who are already standing in your building.
